1. Who is responsible

For any question about your data or to exercise your rights, write to contact@framesbykvn.com.

2. Visiting this website

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. When you open a page, your browser automatically sends technical data that is needed to deliver the page. Vercel processes this data on behalf of FRAMESBYKVN:

• your IP address and an approximate location derived from it,
• the date and time of the request, the page or file requested and the response status,
• the browser and operating system (user agent) and, if your browser sends it, the referring page.

This data is used to deliver the website, to keep it secure and stable (for example to detect and block attacks and abuse) and to analyse errors. It is not used to identify or profile visitors. Vercel keeps such logs only for a limited time, according to its own retention rules.

Fonts, images and the 3D camera model are delivered from this website itself. The website does not load content, fonts or scripts from other providers.

3. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set any cookies and does not store anything in your browser. It uses no analytics, no advertising or tracking services and no social media plugins. That is why there is no cookie banner. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated first.

4. Enquiry form and e-mail

When you send an enquiry through the form, the following data is processed:

• your name and e-mail address,
• the kind of shoot you are interested in,
• a preferred date, if you enter one,
• your message.

This data is used only to handle and answer your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare an offer or a shoot. The form sends it over an encrypted connection to a server function at Vercel. From there it is sent as an e-mail through the mail server of Hostpoint AG, Switzerland, to the mailbox contact@framesbykvn.com, which is hosted by Hostpoint. Your e-mail address is set as the reply address so the enquiry can be answered directly.

The website does not store enquiries in a database. If an enquiry cannot be delivered, the form tells you so and nothing is kept. You can also write directly to contact@framesbykvn.com; the same applies to such e-mails.

5. Protection against spam and abuse

To keep the form free of spam, the server checks every submission:

• a hidden field that people do not see. If it is filled in (typically by bots), the submission is rejected,
• the time between opening the form and sending it. Submissions that are implausibly fast are rejected. The point in time is sent along with the form and used only for this check,
• that the request comes from this website (the origin your browser sends with it),
• the number of enquiries from the same IP address (at most five within 15 minutes). For this, the IP address is held briefly in the working memory of the server. It is not stored permanently and is not part of the e-mail.

If delivery fails, a technical error message without the content of your enquiry is written to the server log.

6. Link to Instagram

The website links to the Instagram profile of FRAMESBYKVN. There is no embedded Instagram content and no Instagram plugin, so visiting this website sends no data to Instagram. Only if you click the link do you leave this website; Instagram (Meta) then processes data under its own privacy policy.

7. Service providers and disclosure

Personal data is passed on only to the providers needed to run this website and the mailbox:

• Vercel Inc., USA: hosting of the website and of the server function for the enquiry form,
• Hostpoint AG, Switzerland: e-mail server and mailbox.

They process the data on behalf of FRAMESBYKVN. Your data is not sold and not used for advertising. It is disclosed to authorities only where the law requires it.

8. Processing outside Switzerland

Vercel delivers the website through a worldwide network of data centres and is based in the USA. Data from your visit and from the enquiry form is therefore processed in the USA and in Europe, and for visitors from other regions also in a data centre near them.

The Swiss Federal Council recognises an adequate level of data protection for the countries of the EU and EEA and for US companies certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Art. 16 para. 1 FADP and Annex 1 to the Data Protection Ordinance). Vercel states that it is certified under this framework. Hostpoint processes the e-mails in Switzerland.

9. How long data is kept

• Technical access data: only as long as Vercel keeps its logs (see section 2).
• Rate limit: the IP address only briefly in the server's working memory (see section 5).
• Enquiries: as long as needed to answer them and, if a shoot follows, to carry out the assignment. Data that the law requires to be kept, for example for accounting, is kept for the statutory period. Enquiries that are no longer needed are deleted.

10. Security

The website and the form use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Enquiries are passed to the mail server over an encrypted connection. Access data for the mailbox is kept only on the server side and never reaches your browser. Access to the mailbox is protected by a password. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, but these measures protect your data in line with the risk.

11. Your rights

Under the FADP you can in particular:

• ask which personal data about you is processed (right of access),
• have incorrect data corrected,
• have your data deleted or object to its processing,
• receive data you provided in a common electronic format or have it transferred.

To do so, write to contact@framesbykvn.com. To protect your data, proof of identity may be requested. These rights can be limited where the law allows. You can also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch.

There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.

12. Changes

This policy is updated when the website or the way data is processed changes. The version published here applies.
